Updates: Open Enrollment and Paychecks

UCPath is where we go to make our open enrollment choices and also where we can go for open enrollment information, via webinars.

MORE INFORMATION

But, first, a note about a 12-hour UCPath blackout that will occur during open enrollment: 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, to 7 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24. UCPath will be offline during this period to accommodate cutover work in preparation for bringing UC Irvine and UC Santa Cruz into the UC system鈥檚 new payroll and personnel system.

Other UCPath blackout periods have been scheduled as follows: 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, to 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, and 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, to 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 22.

Only the Nov. 23-24 blackout occurs during open enrollment, which runs until 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 (two days before Thanksgiving). So, if your open enrollment strategy 鈥 intended or not 鈥 is to wait until the last weekend, remember the UCPath blackout!

Open enrollment webinars

The UCPath Center is hosting four webinars in November to offer information about open enrollment. Topics include 2020 eligibility and plan changes, premium contributions, how to use UCPath online and more.

The interactive webinars, each an hour long, are scheduled as follows (to register, click on the date of the webinar you wish to attend):

  • 鈥 9 a.m.
  • 鈥 noon
  • 鈥 2:30 p.m.
  • 鈥 7:30 a.m.

After registering you will receive a registration confirmation with webinar log-in details.

Health Care Facilitator

Did you miss this office's medical plan overviews on the Davis campus the last week of October? You can watch a video of one of the sessions, and-or view the PowerPoint slide deck separately. The Health Care Facilitator's office also has posted this document: "Which Medical Plan Is Right for You?"

Health and Wellness Fair

Returning to the Davis campus for the first time in several years: a Health and Wellness Fair during open enrollment. The fair is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, in the Ballroom.

Health, vision and dental care providers will be among the participants, along with Healthy 69成人, WorkLife, and the Staff and Faculty Health and Well-Being Program.

Review your pay statements

UCPath came online at 69成人, 69成人 Health and Agriculture and Natural Resources on Sept. 27 鈥 too late to process October鈥檚 first set of paychecks. UCPath simply served as the mechanism to get those checks to us.

That means our November checks were the first to be processed in UCPath 鈥 and why officials are urging employees, again, to review our pay statements to ensure that pay and deductions are reflected correctly.
