Eateries Welcome Students and Employees Back

The bike circles are filling up, and so are the campus eateries.

As fall instruction begins this week, students and many employees will be on campus grabbing coffee, breakfast, lunch and more in restaurants and coffee shops operated by Dining Services and the Associated Students of 69�� — many of which are just reopening after spending months dormant.

Your Back-to-School Dining Options

As more people return to their offices, let’s not forget two other important aspects of working on campus: coffee and food! Some Dining Services facilities (including Scrubs Café) are already open and more will soon follow, while Silo restaurants and the Coffee House are set to reopen Wednesday, Sept. 22, the first day of instruction. Look for signature sandwiches, a Hawaiian-themed menu, allergen-free foods and more at various eateries.

Pizza, sandwiches and more: Silo Market (South Silo) opens Tuesday (Nov. 28).

Welcome to our new Scrubs Café! From the brightly colored sign panel over the door, to the squeaks of shoes on shiny floors, to the smell of oven-hot pizza — everything about this place is fresh and inviting.

Campus chefs and planners have learned something from their recent spate of new eateries: It’s best to focus on a few things and do them really well.

That philosophy comes to the new Silo Market, with simple pizza and deli sandwich menus, coolers full of premade sandwiches and salads, plus snacks and more, when it opens Nov. 28 in the South Silo.
