VERT Content / VERT Content for 69 en LAURELS: Veterinary EMS Team Lauded /news/laurels-veterinary-ems-team-lauded <p>The state Emergency Medical Services Authority recently presented a certificate of commendation to the Medical Reserve Corps of 69’ Veterinary Emergency Response Team, or VERT, recognizing the corps’ response to the Camp Fire.</p> <p>The Medical Reserve Corps deployed twice to Butte County in connection with the fire that destroyed the town of Paradise last year. He works at Stebbins Cold Canyon Natural Reserve near the Cahill Riparian Reserve.</p> <p>The County Fire sparked June 30 near Guinda and prompted evacuations of researchers from Stebbins and Quail Creek Natural Reserve.
