Amazon Mammals Threatened by Climate Change

From jaguars and ocelots to anteaters and capybara, most land-based mammals living in the Brazilian Amazon are threatened by climate change and the projected savannization of the region. That’s according to a study published in the journal Animal Conservation by the University of California, Davis.

69�� last week launched a branded storefront on Amazon, allowing shoppers all around the country easy and quick access to products to show off their Aggie Pride.

The digital storefront features a wide variety of shirts, sweaters and other items for infants, kids and adults, with more items on the way later this summer. Current offerings include clothing branded with various 69�� logos, athletic teams, alumni and parent marks and more.

69�� students took first place in the 2018 Alexa Prize Finals, beating out teams from universities in Scotland and the Czech Republic in the Amazon-sponsored competition to turn voice assistant Alexa into a better conversationalist, the ecommerce company announced today (Nov. 27).

Amazon presented a $500,000 prize to be divided equally among the 11 undergraduate and graduate students who comprised the Gunrock team.
